What we don’t allow
- Personal attacks, harassment, or hate speech directed at other commenters or anyone else
- Spam, including links to unrelated sites, promotional content, or affiliate links
- Breeder advertising or breeder placement requests
- Veterinary advice or diagnosis of specific pets
- Content that promotes animal abuse or neglect
- Off-topic or irrelevant comments
- Comments that contain personal information about identifiable third parties
- Copyrighted material posted without permission
Moderation
Comments are moderated. We may approve, edit, or remove comments at our discretion based on this policy. We don’t owe an explanation for individual moderation decisions, but we do try to apply this policy consistently and in good faith.
Repeat violations may result in a permanent ban from commenting.
Health and behavior advice
Please don’t ask the comment section to diagnose your pet’s health or behavior issues. We’re not veterinarians, and even if another commenter is, no one can responsibly diagnose a pet they haven’t examined. For health concerns, please contact a licensed veterinarian. For behavior concerns, please consult a certified animal behaviorist or veterinary behaviorist.
